Midwifery
I believe women and Midwives need time and the opportunity to develop a trusting relationship. Continuity of care gives me access to your complete Maternity experience. Continuity will give you the opportunity to build a relationship with me the midwife who will share this intimate time in your life and trust will increase your ability to make informed choices and control of your experience.

Although I believe every woman has the right to choose where and with whom she has her baby, my practice is limited to uncomplicated pregnancies and births at home.

Should you need obstetric or medical advice or referral I would make the necessary arrangements with your consent. As we will be working in partnership I aim to build a close and trusting relationship, based on good communication and information exchange and respect for your rights to make your own choices and decisions about the care you want and receive. Independent midwives are fully trained midwives who have chosen to work outside of the NHS. As professional practitioners, we are supervised by the Local Supervising Authority and the local Supervisors of Midwives and governed by our Nursing Midwifery Council.
